Christmas Decor

Crafting When We Can Challenge

Theme - Clean & Simple

Can't believe it's Sunday already! and another week closer to Christmas. It's a new challenge at Crafting When we Can & we are sponsored this week by ' A Random Fan' & I chose 'Christmas Decor' to play with, and this is what I did with it.

FS1, FS2
IG1, IG2, IG4, IG6
LY1, CT2
CR5, CR7, CR9, CR11, DR5
LG1, LG2, LG3, LG5

To keep to the theme of clean & simple I chose just to matt and layer with red & white card stock, and I wrote out the sentiment ' Is it too late to be good?' as I thought that the penguins looked quite cheeky.

Rory's Christmas Present Delivery

It's a new challenge at

Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous 'Lacey Sunshine Stamps'
& our theme is 'Anything Goes'

I chose 'Rory's Christmas Present Delivery', I have several of the 'Rory' digi stamps so was really pleased to add another to my collection.

I used Spectrum Noir markers to colour her:

GB1, GB8, GB10
TB1, TB2, TB3, TB4, TB5
CR6, CR7, CR9, CR11, DR5
TN2, TN3, TN4, TN6, TN7

I used some free digi papers called ' Winters Freebie', by 'Katies Wish' which I matted & layered with red then silver card. I added ribbon, snowflake charms & a sentiment that reads
'sending you Christmas Wishes'

I hope you like it as much as I do, as I mentioned I have several of the 'Rory' digi's, so keeping with the papers & colour theme I coloured the others & decided to make a folder so I can sell them as a boxed set, after I made up the cards I had enough paper for the envelope liners.

New Crafters Cafe Challenge!

It's challenge time at

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog

the theme for this challenge is 'Thank You'
we are sponsored this week by

I chose an image from Dr Digi called 'Dunderton Decorators Ltd.'

This is how I decorated him!

I used the following Spectrum Noirs:

FS1,FS5, FS6
IG1, IG2, IG4, IG5, IG6
IB1, IB2, IB3
CR6, CR7, CR9, CR11, DR5
GB3, GB7
TN3, TN5

I chose two sentiments as I couldn't make up my mind between them so decided to use both, the first 'Thank You in appreciation of you, and all that you do', and the second which I made into the hanging sign 'Thank you is the least I can say to you to show my appreciation for everything you have done for me, Thank You.'

Now as this is a man's card I couldn't really decorate it with lace & flowers so I downloaded some 'tools of the trade' clip art and use glossy accents to strengthen them.

I put the card together after making a centre-stepper with textured linen card stock.

I've entered this card into the following challenges:

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge - Challenge #11 Anything goes
Creative Moments - Challenge #55 Anything Goes
Scrappers Delights Challenge Blog - Challenge #35 Anything Goes or Paper Piercing
The Stamping Chef - Challenge #54 Anything Goes
My Besties UK Challenge - Anything Goes Challenge (A)
Outlawz Challenges - Friday Colouring Challenge, Anything Goes

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog, I really appreciate all your lovely comments.
